Add your voice to a song

Record with the lyrics scrolling
Put on headphones, press record and sing after a three-second count while the words scroll. Your recording is lined up with the music for you.
Mix it like a studio
Set your voice level, the music level and the echo, and nudge the timing if you came in early or late. Listen to the mix before you save it.
Sing it without the AI voice
Make a version without vocals and sing the whole song yourself, karaoke style.
Save and share
The mix is saved as a new song: download it, or publish it on your artist page.
How it works
- Make a song, or open one in your library.
- Choose Add your voice on the song page and put on headphones.
- Sing along while the lyrics scroll, then set the levels and the echo.
- Save the mix as a new song, then download or publish it.
Questions
Why do I need headphones?
So the microphone hears only you, not the music from your speakers.
Does the version without vocals count as a song?
Yes. Making it uses the AI like any other song. Recording and mixing your voice doesn't count.
Can the AI sing in my own voice?
No, it doesn't copy voices. You can sing over any song yourself with Add your voice, or hum a melody and get a song built around it.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. LimeWire.fm runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to download. You can also add it to your home screen as an app.
Is it really free?
Yes. Make 10 minutes of music a day without an account, or 30 minutes a day with a free account. No credit card, no trial. Free listening has a short break for LimeWire Pro every few songs.
