Make a song for TikTok and Reels
Short videos need a hook that lands in the first seconds. Make a short song built around one catchy line, then turn it into a vertical video with the lyrics on screen.

Start with the hook
Write one short line people will want to sing and put it under [Chorus] in My lyrics. Or describe the hook and let the AI write it.
Keep it short
Choose 30 seconds or 1 minute, so the song gets to the chorus fast. When the lyrics have real timing, Share as video starts the clip just before the chorus.
Post a video, not just a sound
Share as video makes a 15, 30 or 60-second portrait clip with the cover, the words and moving bars. Instagram doesn't accept WebM videos, and the dialog tells you if your browser can only make those.
Check each platform's rules
TikTok, Instagram and YouTube each have their own rules for AI-made content and for music in posts, and many ask you to label AI-generated content. Check them before you post.
Ideas to try
Press an idea and Create opens with it filled in. Change anything you like before you make the song.
How it works
- Write your hook, or describe the song and what the video is about.
- Pick 30 seconds or 1 minute and press Create.
- Open the song and choose Share as video.
- Save the clip and post it, with the platform's AI label if it asks for one.
Questions
Can my song become a sound other people use?
That's up to each platform and how it handles sounds. Publishing the song on LimeWire.fm also gives people a link to the full song and your artist page.
Why is my video a WebM file?
It depends on the browser: LimeWire.fm makes an MP4 when the browser can and WebM otherwise. If you get WebM and want to post on Instagram, try another browser.
Can it sound like a famous singer?
It doesn't copy real artists. If you name one, the AI gets a description of the general sound instead, such as "dark synth-pop with a falsetto male voice", and song titles can't name real artists.
Can I use the songs commercially?
LimeWire.fm's terms let you use songs you make, including commercially, as far as the law and the AI model's licence allow. AI-generated music may not be protected by copyright in some countries, so for big projects check the rules where you live.
Is it really free?
Yes. Make 10 minutes of music a day without an account, or 30 minutes a day with a free account. No credit card, no trial. Free listening has a short break for LimeWire Pro every few songs.
