A complete song from one sentence
Describe the topic, the genre and the mood, like "an upbeat pop song about a summer road trip". The AI plans the verses and the chorus, writes the words and sings them over the music.
Your words or the AI's
Let the AI write the lyrics, paste your own, or choose instrumental. Pick a female or male voice, a duet or a choir, and any of 50 vocal languages.
Edit instead of starting over
Extend a song, replace a part with new lyrics, re-sing a single line, or give the whole song a new style. Trim and fade it right in your browser.
Share it, or keep it
Download it as MP3 or WAV, or publish it to get your own artist page, a link with its own picture for WhatsApp and Messages, and a chance at the charts.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Make 10 minutes of music a day without an account, or 30 minutes a day with a free account. No credit card, no trial. Free listening has a short break for LimeWire Pro every few songs.
Do I need an account?
No. Making songs needs no account: your songs stay in your browser. Create a free account with an email, a username and a password when you want to publish, follow artists or make playlists.
How long does it take to make a song?
Usually a minute or two. When many people are making songs at the same time, it can take a little longer.
How long can a song be?
Up to 4 minutes when you make it. Extend it by up to 90 seconds at a time, as often as you like.
Can I use the songs commercially?
LimeWire.fm's terms let you use songs you make, including commercially, as far as the law and the AI model's licence allow. AI-generated music may not be protected by copyright in some countries, so for big projects check the rules where you live.
Which languages can it sing in?
50 languages, from English, Spanish and Hindi to Hungarian, Swahili and Japanese, plus Estonian in beta. Pick the vocal language on the Create page.
Can it sound like a famous singer?
It doesn't copy real artists. If you name one, the AI gets a description of the general sound instead, such as "dark synth-pop with a falsetto male voice", and song titles can't name real artists.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. LimeWire.fm runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to download. You can also add it to your home screen as an app.
