From a description
"A sad acoustic song about leaving a small town" is enough. The AI writes lyrics that fit, chooses the structure and sings them.
From your own lyrics
Choose My lyrics and paste your text. Mark the parts with [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge]; short lines with a steady rhythm sing best.
From a poem
Poems make good lyrics. Pick a genre and a mood that suit the words, and repeat a strong line as the chorus.
Words in time with the music
The lyrics scroll along with the vocals on the song page, karaoke style, and the song's owner can fine-tune the timing line by line.

Questions
Can I write my own lyrics?
Yes. Paste your lyrics under My lyrics, let the AI write them from your description, or choose Instrumental for no vocals. Tags like [Verse] and [Chorus] shape the song.
How long does it take to make a song?
Usually a minute or two. When many people are making songs at the same time, it can take a little longer.
Which languages can it sing in?
50 languages, from English, Spanish and Hindi to Hungarian, Swahili and Japanese, plus Estonian in beta. Pick the vocal language on the Create page.
Is it really free?
Yes. Make 10 minutes of music a day without an account, or 30 minutes a day with a free account. No credit card, no trial. Free listening has a short break for LimeWire Pro every few songs.
Can I use the songs commercially?
LimeWire.fm's terms let you use songs you make, including commercially, as far as the law and the AI model's licence allow. AI-generated music may not be protected by copyright in some countries, so for big projects check the rules where you live.
